A dog certainly qualifies to be man’s best animal friend but this can only be true if good proper pet dog care is directed towards the dog. A lot of people find it to be very cool to own a dog maybe because it does its best to endear itself to humans or because of it unwavering loyalty once proper attention is shown. A pet dog has over the centuries been respected as a guard to its owner as well as a loyal friend. Of course the owner should give the dog other nutrients like vitamins carbohydrates and minerals to keep it healthy. As an important aspect of a dog’s life physical exercise should never be underestimated. Failure to exercise will lead to it being obese and this will eventually render it useless to the owner. This is not to say that the dog should be walked without a leash.
Good dog care won’t be complete if grooming is not included. A dog not groomed well will have the unwelcoming smell that will make it hard even for the owner to relate with well. Once or twice a week grooming should do.
It should always be noted that fleas and ticks like to attack dogs very much. Proper care should be taken to free the dog off these parasites and if possible using the natural methods would be the best. Regular visits to the vet are always encouraged for good pet dog care.
